Better than nothing! I just knocked back 2 Colt 45's. Found some 22oz bottles in Mt. Pleasant today.

Store was out of Natty Daddy
So I grabbed Bud Ice.
It is my belief now that Bud Ice is simply a marketing campaign to sell Natty Daddy.
Bud Ice is terrible!
Worse than that generic beer they used to sell in foam lined gallon bottles labeled BEER, and LIGHT BEER.

High alcohol beers, which Ice beers are, normally don’t taste great…

Unfortunately, while it is made no more, Dark Horses Oil of Gladness 11% ABV was pretty darn tasty.
Better than Mickeys Malt Liquor! But a WHOLE lot more expensive.

remember about 30 years ago when ice beers were actually marketed as a premium product? I think Molson Ice sponsored this big music festival in Alaska headlined by Metallica and Bud Ice had these commercials all over every NHL broadcast

Molson Ice was ALWAYS skunky, even at the crack of the bottle.

Was in a Kroger the other day and, buried behind the other cheap 40oz beers, was one bottle of Colt 45
