He was great on Highway to Heaven, where he and Victor Tayback formed a great duo. I remember watching an episode on March 3, 1988 at 8:00 eastern on WOTV Channel 8 Grand Rapids. At 8:23, all of a sudden the WOTV Channel 8 Grand Rapids logo appeared on the screen right during the show!!!! It was there for 4.8 seconds, then went away!!! I immediately called them collect to see what happened!!! They refused to take my call, and since mother disconnected long distance from my phone because I had racked up $200 in long distance calls from calling WLW 700 kc the previous month, I never found out why the logo appeared.
