Is it really the boomers?? I think only the youngest boomers would even be interested. I'd bet most of the pickleballers are gen-X.

I guess I don't understand the problem here. How is pickleball any more noisy than a busy tennis court? Ever hear Monica Selles(sp?) or John McEnroe serve the ball? (and there have been many McEnroe wanna-bes in the amateur sector!)

We have several pickleball courts in our neighborhood. The blue-hairs have taken over and do get rowdy some days. LOL!

And I agree on tennis, especially women players. Do they really have to grunt with every hit? Being a teenager back in the Monica Seles prime days, it was hard to watch a match she was playing (pun intended). :rollin

When you refer to "blue-hairs", it's hard to know which generation you're talking about!!

Pickleball has overtaken shuffleboard and bocce at nudist resorts across the country.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

That’s some frightening mental imagery right there!

After reading the link and the comments that link had, I got a feeling someone with city influence lives on that cul-de-sac.
