Zed Zed, you're too modest. You never told us you have a beautiful garden plant named after you. Spotted it the other day at the nursery.

Although I don't look at Memorial Day as "happy", it is important to me and I salute and honor all those that have served as well as the family members that have lost a loved one in service to our country.

Thank-you for your sacrifice.

We don't celebrate Memorial Day in Canada. We honour our veterans on Nov. 11.

Turkeytyop, we have Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day and Veterans Day in November as well. As for the plants? I have a black thumb and could kill silk flowers, so not me..lol
