Personal Record Today

Post by Bryce » Sun Nov 26, 2017 9:38 pm

I have a goal I'm working toward. I'm getting close to it. I"m pretty heeled about it and set a personal best today.

Thought I'd share it with the several people that have tolerated me here ober the years.

My goal is to be able to deadlift 2.5 times my body weight on my 60th birthday. This morning I did 385 lbs for four reps. That'a a personal best. I have a real shot at hitting my goal.

Just sharing my excitement with any that might give a darn. And OK, might be bragging a bit too.

385 lbs?

Wow

Nice work.

I've already achieved at least part of your goal. I've attained my 60th birthday

How much do you need to lift and by when?

385 is just over 3 times what I weigh... no way I’ll ever do that... very nice work...

Thanks guys!

At my current weight, 198, I would need to hit 495 for my goal. I'm a bit heavier than normal because I've been eating like a pig for the past few months and drinking beer. That aside, I'm shooting for 500lbs as its a nice even number and have 23 months to get there.

Pretty much have to ad 5 pounds a month to the bar and I'm there. And I only have to lift it one time.

Wish me luck. its a long road.
