When is the acquisition supposed to be complete?
Seems like I've been yapping about this for a year, yet I have not seen any news on it for a while

It wasn't intended to be rude. I'm genuinely curious. Why does it matter to anyone other than the shareholders of the companies?

it does matter.
The number of media owners will go from 6 to 5.
This will have a major affect on the industry.
Disney will have full control over FOX, including their back catalogue of television and motion pictures.
I am not a fan of how Disney runs itself either, so I have bad thoughts on the future of the film industry.

Thanks. Now I understand. At first I thought you were eagerly awaiting the consummation of the merger. I agree. Media concentration is not good.

Remember when Disney bought the Family Channel from Fox?
They completely tore that channel apart and replaced all the programming with strange teen drama's and syndicated sitcoms.
Now they will own the entire company, not just one cable network

Sam, Don’t waste your time on him, When he loses a battle he just walks away or he calls on one of the TC personalities to help bail him out.
