You’re feed up this is coming from a guy who claims that he went into a Wal-Mart in protest, Fills up a shopping cart full of ice cream because of the self checkouts in the store and leaves it there, The point is simple your story that you posted is a negative piece about “The Six Unsafe Cities in Michigan” You never post positivity type stories, So there you have it, Thats the negative opinion about my country that you are conveying, Need I say more, Maybe I will, Who gives a shit if you live in a trailer park with 2/3rds of your neighborhood being American, Big Whoop Dee Doo, I’m the one that should be saying enough is enough. I posted the story exactly as it appeared. I didn't edit. I didn't cherry pick. I didn't make any comments about it. Knowing that most users on this board are from MI, I thought there might be some interest. I expected it might generate some thoughtful discussion. What I didn't expect was the "Shoot the messenger" response.

You say I never post anything positive about the U.S. Of course, you've only been a member of this board for about six weeks. So you weren't here the time a few months ago, when I compared the Canadian highways to the U.S. Interstate system and declared the U.S. the winner, hands down. You weren't here the day I heaped praise on four of your former Presidents. But you were here yesterday when, in answer to one of your own questions, I made some positive comments about Detroit.

You say I never report anything negative about Canada. At 10:00 PM last night you must have been already in bed, when I heaped condemnation on our extreme right, pro-capitalist government. This time last year I was dumping all over Tim Horton's in Ontario after they cut benefits and break times for there employees to offset the cost of the minimum wage increase. Anyone who's been on this board for more than six weeks can tell that I've been forever railing against CBC Radio II.

In future, just to be safe, I'd better post only stories about puppies and kittens.
