Is the irony of a Canadian socialist with a second home in Florida not lost on anybody else?
If there's irony in that, I'm missing it. Our "second home" as you call it, is a double-wide in a Resident Owned Park, the purest form of collectivism.

Perhaps you subscribe to the notion that we, in the working class, don't deserve to enjoy our retirement. That we should leave this world, just as we entered it. In poverty.
Do you believe your fellow residents to be collectivists too?

My bet is that they are largely Lower middle class by US standards and wanted / needed a certain price bracket...

Resident owned parks are tightly regulated by the state of Florida.

We are held to high standards of democracy. We have an elected President, Vice President and Executive Board who are accountable to us, the owners.

Our elections always enjoy vigorous participation. There is a level of activism here that I would have envied, back in my Local Union.
