I picked up 2 12 packs of Moosehead Lager @ $13.99/each today in Traverse City at The Beverage Company. Got 2 because the Meijer in Gaylord no longer carries it and I have had trouble finding it because of that. I checked the Meijer in TC and the beer merchandiser recommend this place. The TC Meijer did carry it before but I think it's been phased out at multiple locations.

I see Moosehead all the time here in NW Ohio, good stuff and not too expensive.

You ever see Terrapin beer in the stores around Toledo? It's a line of flavored beers out of Athens Georgia. According to their website, Toledo is the furthest north it can be bought. A friend of mine in South Carolina talks about a flavor called Moo Hoo. He says it's beer that taste like chocolate milk.

That's just the middle class trying to appropriate our working class drink. They can't accept it on its own terms. They have to gussy it up. Chocl;ate flavoured beer. Pumpkin spice flavoured beer, with subtle notes of rhubarb and green tea. :barf :barf :barf

I've never seen that kind of beer.

Agreed TT.. Blech.... I am normally not a fan of Budwiser but I am hooked on Budlight lime right now. That aside, sounds like hipsters trying to mess with everything.

I'm seeing that pretty much trademark Canadian pink brick in the background......???? 8o

You're evading the question. What beer is it? :lol

We were in Florida. Had to go down there and repair damage from Irma. We're back here now until after New Years.

There is a lot of that pink brick in this neighbouhood. The homes were built back in the 1960s and to keep costs down the builder used concrete bricks. They came in pink, green, brown and grey. Whoever was the original owner of our house spent the extra money for clay bricks. They're red.

Now. About the beer---

That's not a Slovakian bird, now is it?

a.k.a Zlaty Bazant?

Looks like the lager (10%) vs. pils (12%)...

I'm not fluent in Czech, but I'm guessing you mean this one. Golden Pheasant.

Well done.

The can holder wasn't just to disguise the can. And it wasn't to keep the beer cold. It was to keep my hand warm, as I enjoyed a beer outdoors, on this sunny, late November day.

The patio furniture and the umbrella are all put away for the season. I'm left using a plastic chair with an upside down bucket as a table.

The photo was an afterthought.

I'm going to guess that it's some kind of Busch simply because of the mountain peaks on the can.

Probably light.

Busch Light Is correct. Thought the colour might fool you. Every year they bring out an autumn themed, orange can. I brought a half dozen home fro Florida
