Fox2’s “Song of the Day” smh

Post by lovinlife101 » Thu Mar 21, 2019 7:39 am

Can you imagine the meeting where this abomination of an idea was pitched?

“Hey, I’ve got a great idea! You know how nobody watches appointment television anymore? And you know how nobody calls radio stations to request songs anymore because we have things like YouTube, online music services and the like? Let’s combine them! People will run to their nearest payphone, call up a television station, and request we play a song! It’s genius!”

Must have been the same person fired from WXYZ for pitching the “Rant Van” idea where Ronald Dahl and a photographer drove around in a creepy van, abducted Detroit’s most toothless, homeless, and hopeless and video taped them inside said van for a “story.”

Who’s Ronald Dahl?

A 20th Century British author who also hosted the “Rant Van” until the suits discovered a photographer could do it solo.
