WGPR Overnight Movie

Does anyone out there remember when WGPR stopped showing all night movies? I'm pretty sure it was before 1994.

There are some clips from WGPR on youtube, like late 70s/early 80s. The movies looked to be from the 1930's and 1940s. Down where I lived we didn't get WGPR on our cable tv.
The New Z 102.7 Rocks! "You could listen WRIF and hear commercials, you could listen to snowflake music on Alt 106.7 Or you could listen to the station that REALLY rocks Detroit" WPZR Mt.Clemens/Detroit Crank it up and break the buttons off"

I've seen a lot of those. The ad for Watts Club Mozambique is pretty funny, (it burned down a few years ago.)
