Good info...thanks....this is what LPFM is all about.....not some scam religious operation warehousing frequencies all over a region and simulcasting.


The box that many broadcasters won’t look outside of was made in 1969 and hasn’t changed significantly since.

Sadly, if you examine the FCC's Silent FM Stations list, you will see that quite a few are LPFM's. And I concur, the religious "drones" in the form of FM translators, are a nuisance.

THERE is a LPTV station run by Detroit's WMUZ conglomerate, It is listed as 1KW ERP and I have seen the 300 ft tower. I can not get anything on that channel and I am 25 miles north of it.

Was WDWO on Ch 18, but looks like they moved transmission site to WKBD tower in Southfield, a few years ago..
The location was the smaller of three towers at the WMUZ site S of I 96, off Evergreen Rd. Now only 11.1 miles from my location, have to recheck the channel and see what I can see :D
