Re: New Use For An Old Mattress?

My comments are in fact assembled in the U.S. but I gather much of the parts from European and Canadian sources. The U.S. makes Steel, Cars, Heavy Equipment, Power Plants, Locomotives, Boats, even some appliances http://www.gereports.com/post/74545039294/we-pulled-out-all-the-stops-ge-to-open-new/ M...

Re: BREAKING: Justice Scalia dies during hunting trip

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has died at the age of 79. Here is the story that ran in The Times last year on his close friendship with Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia seem unlikely friends. Though both grew up in New York City and graduated from Ivy Leag...

Re: BREAKING: Justice Scalia dies during hunting trip

I didn't always agree with the guy, but he was true to his principles. His passing will have tremendous implications on public policy. Will the Senate be able to put the kebosh on filling the seat for 10 months? (Closer to a year if they wait for the next President to be seated) Yeah, tremendous im...

EDIT: Justice Scalia and SCOTUS nomination

EL PASO -- An El Paso source close to Justice Antonin Scalia tells ABC-7 that the 79-year-old died in his sleep last night after a day of quail hunting at Cibolo Creek Ranch outside of Marfa, Texas. The Justice did not report feeling ill and retired to his room after dinner. The source, who was trav...

Re: The Farce Called The Democrat Primary Process

I think the early pledging of the Super Delegates to Hillary has been a windfall for Sanders. The young voters are upset about a number of things the DNC has done to juke the primaries for Hillary. The more the process has the appearance of being rigged, the better Sanders does. The debate schedule ...

Re: March 1: Super Tuesday

I don't think he's going very soon... He appeals to that typical middle income low educated white male pretty well, better than any of the other candidates... Here are some of the top takeaways from the data behind last night's results. 1. Hillary Clinton has a woman problem The Clinton campaign was...

He is very influential to African-American leadership. If Bernie wants the South, this will be important.

Re: New Hampshire primary predictions

We aren't at a point in history for reason. Look, our country has a habit of keeping the Congress and President of different parties. Watch the total votes and you will see that the Democrats have more of them. Gerrymandering is why the Republicans have a majority in Congress.

Re: Time to make the DNC feel the bern

It's a great day for Bernie, look who he just picked up.. From New York Times.. Re: March 1: Super Tuesday

Looks like Christie is GONE. 18 million to get 10%, and he's off the main debate stage next time.

March 1: Super Tuesday

It's also called Super Tuesday because 11 states (12 for the GOP) hold their nominating contests that day. It's also called the SEC primary because seven of the 11 states are in the South. With so many states voting, the stakes are high. In a two-person Democratic field, a clear winner could emerge....

Re: New Hampshire primary predictions

Trump is not going to be the nominee. there seems to be significant push back to all the grey money in politics. Bush burned the evangelists, Obama has protected the banks, big food has successfully removed labeling, the oil industry runs most of the candidates, and there are dozens of other intere...
