Re: WLAV Tower Relocation - new update 7/29

As acknowledged in the paperwork filed, WLAV cannot broadcast at full power until puny little WLAW moves. Personally, I'd just turn in the WLAW license, or in the alternative, file an STA to broadcast at reduced power from the current WLAW site. I believe it's not a over lapping coverage contour is...

I've noticed that too. Apparently nobody at that operation ever listens to their own stations.
I think it's been this way since at least July.

Re: LAV STA/application status

Wow, that is a long way off still. Why not run 97.5 at reduced power via STA so WLAV can complete its upgrade sooner? It's not a power thing. It's a physical location issue. Yeah...Stupid I know. The commission is so concerned about this, but not the Translators stepping on Full Power stations and ...

Impedance changed more than 2%, so has to file for direct measurement of power. Not a big deal. And I wonder if there should be different threshold for omni vs. DA. Thoughts?
It's 2% for the tower that is affected by the change.

Re: The Ticket West Michigan

Are these clowns still lying to their audience as to the real reason behind 106.1's sign-on delay? Why do you think they are lying? It comes down to the Big guy not knowing what the hell is really going on and announcing to everyone a target date for 106.1 turning on when he doesn't even know for s...

Re: WLAV Tower Relocation

I think once the re-location to the GVSU happens the Average WLAV will no longer have reception issues. It all comes down to where the Sales people are selling. I highly doubt much is being sold in eastern Kent County. Ionia, Montcalm, Barry and Eaton counties. I'm sure a some though.
