WTKA is far enough from any major road , it's difficult to spot.
I see 4 towers at WTKA

E-layer can happen any time of day, but it's seasonal.

Who mentioned hiding tha box and antenna in a tree on state land. ? This 1000 W transmitter will need a 20A #12 Romex power wire going to it , assuming about 2 kW of 120 VAC power to generate 1 Kw of RF output.power .
