Even though it's very unlikely,maybe just maybe,this Jack O''Malley guy is thinking about someday representing the Alpena area in state politics someday.

Not sure if omelette and Finster had diffences or not.It was so long ago,but I believe Finster was let go by Northern Broadcasting for budgetary reasons.

Assuming I heard right,Jack O'Malley will soon be working for Midwestern's Alpena cluster.If true,not sure if it would be an on or off air position.Either way,I would have to imagine he would be working remotely from the Traverse City area.

Yes,both 1210 AM and 101.1 in TC are both still airing an all sports format.

It would seem to me,that if Blarney Stone Broadcasting were to program 92.5 they would air all sports-0r use it for a repeater for Wqon.

Looking at the FCC database,it appears that an STA was recently filled for 1110 AM to take it silent.(Financial reasons).

According to Wikipedia,it looks like WLDR(Traverse City)may of at one time had an HD 4 channel.
