WMOM shuts down

WMOM owner Pat Lopeman shut down the station yesterday, 4/1. He had me come up and dismantle the studios and help with the shutdown.

WPBN had no direct NBC feed until sat delivery. They had off air pickups at Morley for WOOD and near Barryton for WNEM, microwaved to the TX site. They would switch to whoever had the best signal. With WOTV occupying cable 9 in Muskegon and Fremont, I wonder if it replaced WWTV on one or both of those systems. Muskegon cable has never carried any adjacent-market stations.
