Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

If I had made up a story out of whole cloth that could potentially prevent a powerful man from receiving a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, I surely wouldn't ask the FBI to investigate it.

If I were innocent of the charges brought in that story, I surely would welcome an FBI investigation.

Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

Any of you who voted for Bill Clinton in 1996 have no room to talk here. So that's your argument, that because one rapey guy made his way into a position of leadership other rapey guys should have the same fair opportunity and we shouldn't speak out against that? What a fucked up moral compass... B...

Re: Dear Democratic Party, I hate you

Have you ever considered what Congress's role was in the cost of your Healthcare? Because thanks to an initiative started by Trump last year, your health care will continue to become more expensive. Ever since Obamacare was passed, Congress led by Republicans has slowly whittled away benefits from ...

I thought that Mario & Rod were best of pals didn't know they didn't like each other if what is reported that Rod put Mario in a chokehold then he should be fired.
It could have been worse. Someone could have laid a Brady Breaker on him.

Re: Desperate Trump threatens Evangelists

Call Trump whatever you want, but most of our investments LOVE Trump! It would be a better judgment of how the economy is doing if we looked at those not fortunate enough to have any investments. I bet they aren't so thrilled. Also not thrilled is a friend of more than 30 years who works three part...

I knew someone once who worked in a plant where they manufactured crystals. He said they used some signal that was broadcast from the same facility as WWV, to calibrate the crystals.
You can tune a crystal, but you can't tune a fish.

Re: Desperate Trump threatens Evangelists

The signs were there all along the road to the election. Anyone who had one half of one eye open saw them. He mocked a disabled reporter. He insulted the Gold Star parents of a man who gave his life while serving in our military. He suggested that those who came to his rallies and opposed him should...

In this era when thuggishness seems to be the behaviourial buzzword,Sen. John S. McClain, though imperfect like all seven-and-one-half billion humans, oozed class, bravery and dignity, and was a true American hero. (Can you imagine the current White House occupant even serving in the military, let alone...

Re: Channel 7 lack of tribute

You refer to Aretha Franklin's coverage as a "local singers tributes" as if she's a nobody in Detroit or the world, and prefer to have that coverage replaced by "John Mclain" spelled wrong. As much as I do respect John McCain and his contributions to society, he doesn't have the same emotional conn...

He was a mainly mainstream Republican politician who generally followed the party line unless it suited him politically or personally to do otherwise -- no different than any other politician in that respect. He also made some horrendous decisions. He seemed to have realized those errors late in lif...

Re: Something I've Noticed

The shows I saw at Cobo, the Palace and Crisler Arena between the mid-1970s and about 1995 were always sellouts. I don't know how much of the crowds were local and how much of them were on tour with the band, but it was always a full house.

Re: Dream Cruise

If have a question about the Dream Cruise and if it's kind of odd so be it. Has anyone ever seen any AMC Motors car in it? I always had a weird interest in them. To me it's kind of fun looking at old Pacers and Gremlins. You might think differently if your first car had been a 1974 Hornet. Worst PO...
