Re: Bernie Sanders at Grand Valley

The Bern is in Warren this afternoon at the Macomb CC Expo Center, the same venue where Trump hosted his rally yesterday morning.

Re: Mitt Romney: Plan B?

The only folks who will take Willie Mitt's comments to heart are the people who'd never vote for Trump in a million years (at least in the GOP primary) in the first place. All the speech accomplished was it gave more fodder for the pro-Trump and anti-Trump folks alike. It changed almost no one's mind.

Re: 'Pub Debate

I mostly agree with Trump's hard-line stance on dealing with terrorism. I believe he connected successfully with many viewers when he spoke about trade, illegal immigration (including addressing Rubio's allegations regarding his hiring practices for his S. Florida hotels), and yes, the military. I l...

Re: This Is Why I Cannot/Will Not Support Marco

Who do you think hired or promoted many of the losers who dropped the ball? If our Governor wasn't such an aloof empty suit, he would've known of the issues many months sooner. Sounds like Muchmore was basically running the government in 2014 and 2015. Snyder's too busy looking at spreadsheets and g...

Re: This Is Why I Cannot/Will Not Support Marco

After the support Marco gave Snyder last night, I truly loathe him now.

Re: 'Pub Debate

Paul W. was kissing Donald's ass like you wouldn't believe on 760 this morning. Rather bizarre considering the country club repubs that Paul adores aren't big Trump fans, generally speaking. Michael Savage is a big Trump fan, too. So is Wallbanger (who is a complete phony and probably only singing T...

Re: 'Pub Debate

I thought Cruz and Kasich both performed well, with Cruz having the bset performance. Trump and Rubio had mixed results. Trump handled the budget question poorly, and his anatomy reference was in poor taste. Rubio has no memorable moments other than Trump University. What was that foreign object on ...

Re: Love him or hate him, Lindsay Graham is spot on here

I disagree with Graham. He almost must be paying next to zero attention to election results within various GOP primary states. Record turnouts, and in some states, independents have been voting in the GOP primary lopsidedly. Should anyone be taking election strategy advice from a guy who polled <1% ...

I agree with Trump on health care

I've been saying the following - conceptually, anyway - for a long time: Remove barriers to entry into free markets for drug providers that offer safe, reliable and cheaper products. Congress will need the courage to step away from the special interests and do what is right for America. Though the p...

Re: March 1: Super Tuesday

I agree with NS8401. Delegate count math is skewed to a degree in Cruz's favor right now, because let's face it, he performed quite well in Texas, and Texas by far is the most delegate-rich state to have voted so far. There are probably a number of congressional districts within Texas were Cruz crac...

Re: 2016 Presidential Polls

It looks like Carson is throwing in the towel, even though he's not fully suspending his campaign yet. He's skipping the Detroit debate.

Re: Rubio and the phrase "con artist"

Cruz still had a bad night... He didn't do great. That said, in terms of total delegate count, he's in better shape than Rubio. The AP shows Trump with 285 delegates, Cruz with 161, Rubio with 87, Kasich with 25 and Carson with 8 to date. Cruz had a larger than expected win in Texas given recent po...

Re: Rubio and the phrase "con artist"

Poor little Marco... But hey, he performed well among menopausal women and soccer moms in the Republican stronghold of Minnesota (a state the Dems will win by a mile in the general election) and had a good night in the crony capitalism stronghold of Virginia. I will say Ted Cruz gave an outstanding,...

Re: Trump to host campaign rally in Warren on 3/4

He'll probably lease a turboprop to fly up to Caddy. That's my guess anyway. Doubt he'll be taking a limo up there; it's damn near a four hour drive from Warren! There's no way in hell that tiny airport on Boon Rd can accommodate a massive jet. A ridiculous number of people will be turned away from ...
