Re: Catholic Priests continue to Rape Children
It's not possible to claim bigotry for a ruling class of a society. And since religion is a personal choice, not something you are born with like your gender or color, it certainly is a bias but I would argue it is not bigotry. Uh...no. The dictionary definition of the word is very different from w...

Re: Trump Booed at Libertarian National Convention
While I consider myself as being somewhere between a Conservative and a Libertarian politically, the Libertarian party itself is a joke. The fact that Trump was booed by that group isn't surprising, and frankly isn't particularly newsworthy other than for the fact that Trump isn't used to being booe...

Re: Catholic Priests continue to Rape Children
Are you Catholic? How bout that... so am I. TC's problem here is he is literally shooting in the dark since he can't possibly know which posters are going to ring his neck over this... and it'll be some sort of bi-partisan coalition. I've been calling out TCT's anti-Christian and anti-white-male-co...

Biden leading in on-line betting. https://www.predictit.org/markets/detail/7456/Who-will-win-the-2024-US-presidential-election By 10 no less… bettors usually don’t put their necks out and make fanboy bets so I count this as a good sign for now. Interesting perspective, since it has swung 18 points ...

Re: 2024 is going to be a clusterf*&k
That doesn't answer my question, at all. What I'm asking is, what neutral process can play out whereby the authenticity of the results are verified to a degree where both sides are confident that the correct person won?

Re: 2024 is going to be a clusterf*&k
Setting aside your issue over Electoral vote vs popular vote (I've proposed my own compromise on this in here several times before that would involve proportionate allocation of electoral votes in each state - not by voting district, but by statewide vote tallies, plus 2 winner-take all delegates in...

Nikki Haley says she's voting for Trump. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/22/politics/nikki-haley-donald-trump/index.html Haley said Trump “has not been perfect” on policies important to her, including foreign policy, immigration and the economy, but President Joe Biden “has been a catastrophe.” “So I wi...

Re: The Bias of Alito
1st Amendment rights are only not at play here to the extent you are flat out calling Alito a liar.
And your little quip about the Constitution meaning little to me is utter BS.

So my broader question is an invalid one simply because you believe it isn't applicable in this particular instance?

So I'm just curious, since this isn't the first time that a controversy over a SCOTUS Justice's spouse has occurred. If you're married to a SCOTUS Justice, do you thereby relinquish some of your First Amendment rights?

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
Due to the fact Trump nearly fell the other day at a podium... I saw the video. Talk about grasping for straws  The podium itself is what started falling and Trump's physical reaction was that of any normal person. Biden, on the other hand, probably would have went right down to the floor.

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
I have no doubt Biden's handlers are looking for a way out (I'm sure they're still not pleased about him committing to it during his Howard Stern appearance), but Biden himself? I think he actually really does want to debate Trump. Even I have to admit that Trump's strength is more in a rally settin...

Re: Let's talk about the merits of the NY case against Trump
I posted last week about how the defense will probably seek a directed verdict. There is no way on earth that this judge grants that motion as the political fallout from such a decision would effectively end this judge's career. As I think about that possibility, I can't even begin to imagine the ou...

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
Read an article this morning where Trump is more or less demanding than Biden take a drug test before the debate. Sounds to me like he is looking for a way out. Not sure why but that is just the feeling I have My guess is that this is not a way to look for an out, but rather pre-building a line of ...

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread
As interesting as the polls are, here are some betting odds as they currently sit at the Bovada Sportsbook: Trump -120, Biden +110 (equates to roughly 54% chance of Trump win, 45% for Biden) Popular vote winner - about 2.5 to 1 in favor of Biden Republican VP favorite - Doug Burgum (Tim Scott and JD...
