Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

I guess you would rather have the rest of our manufacturing move to the south by lowering the limit below other states? The weight per axle is the main factor in determining road damage. I agree heavier loaded should obey a lower speed limit due to increased stopping distances in inclement weather, ...

Re: If Only Hollande Follows Through

I think on illegals, we simply bar them from becoming citizens. If you ever been here illegally you are permanently disqualified from citizenship but you can apply for a Green card. If you don't apply for a green card you will be deported if we catch you.

This will stop the incentive to cheat.

Re: If Only Hollande Follows Through

Merkel should stay, but she should deport the illegals after their homeland crisis ends. I would give an honorable mention to Carson and Cruz on immigration: Carson August 19, 2015: “With immigration, I would have said everybody is concentrating on the southern border, but we have to seal all the bo...

TheForce wrote:It really irritated me that these road funding packages didn't consider lowering the state's weight limit for trucks. We are more than double of what is nationally.
It's not double...

more like 25%, but it requires more axles.

Re: Good column from Nolan Finley re: road funding

They should just double registration fees for plug-in vehicles. Hybrids that are non-plug-in shouldn't have to pay more because they still get all of there energy from taxed fuel.

Re: T.P.P. Should Just be T.P.

I think the US would be the source in that case, but I'm sure that was sarcasm.

Re: T.P.P. Should Just be T.P.

Obama has an agenda, just no one has figured it all out yet. Being 5,00 pages there is a lot of interpretation - which will make many lawyers rich.

I'm surprised at some candidates accepting it so shortly after it was publicly released unless they're speed readers...

Re: Drugs Kill More Than Guns, Cars

What about MSM media that is controlled by essentially 6 companies nationwide?

The krap they produce is just as biased the other way, and they all copy off one another.

Re: Russian Plane Crashes

I think that was a incorrect report. Maybe it was another pilot?

Re: Russian Plane Crashes

I have corrected the title to reflect the fact that the exact cause is unknown. However, Russian involvement in Syria seems an Occam's Razor motive for anything from sabotage to shooting it down. But Russia won't wring its hands and blame itself for Terrorism. There's a new Sheriff on the World Pol...

Re: Keystone XL Rejected

They knew it wasn't going to happen until a new president comes in.

The problem with this it shouldn't really matter who is president - but government doesn't operate under rule of law anymore.

The spoils system now extends to permits.
