I wonder if the Wiseman leaving Islanders was that talks started behind the scenes. His family has always been in A2 while he moved around the hockey world. So UM would save on any moving cost to bring him in.
I would like to know what Red thinks about all this.

Re: Mr.Peabody's corner- Ok Boomer.
Boomer here.... purchased my 1 and only house in 83 at 11 3/4% both worked to pay the bills and would wonder how my folks raised 7 kids and built a house on 1 income. I think times have changed and one of the areas is the 24-7 way work is now. I remember almost always having weekends free but the la...

Reminds me of the time police came in my place of work with guns drawn, telling us to stand back while they hunted a 'newer' employee and to handcuff and drag out. One guy turned to the Human Rec. person and asked "how the background checks were going?"

The sticking point with recycled plastics is what it will be used for. There tend to be limited areas it can be used when it comes to food packaging. Virgin is preferred but sometimes up to 20 t0 25% recycled can be mixed in with virgin to make the product. Some national companies who use bottles wo...

Give a listen to to the podcast Unsung Science, episode 'Tornado Alley is Shifting Eastward--and We're Not Ready. It discusses the influences of temp and drought causing the 'alley to move East into areas that traditionally did not have to deal with them in numbers and how the danger is bigger becau...

Re: More evidence that Collins, Fauci, and others committed treason
After the Swine Flu fiasco under Pres. Ford the pressure was on to take the leadership of the CDC from the Dr's and make it a political appointee. That's what Reagan did and the rest as they say is history. The Dr's that toil in the lab's trying to figure the best defense on a germ are over ruled by...

Why is it that people think you just walk across the border and vote? First you need to get a Green Card and that can take anything from say 6 months to NEVER. Then you have to apply for citizenship and that can take at the absolute best 14 months or longer. So which election are all these folks goi...

What should scare you more is that there is no commission to do any follow-up on the virus so we know what worked and what did not. Like the 1918 pandemic... Why did more die in Philadelphia than St Louis? What measures were more effective? Why do some counties have a lower or higher rate? We are ju...

Is it me..... saying,"The "national emergency" should have ended the day the vaccine became readily available." is like saying WWII was over when we created the Bomb. The emergency could be over after the vaccine was used by all to stop the spread. I recommend the reading of Michael Lewis' book 'The...

Re: Why Would a Homeless Person Have a Cellphone?
Years ago our church participated in a 'rotating shelter' during the winter months to the overflow of the local homeless shelter. All the participants had to meet minimum standards as to not present a problem. One young guy had a beat-up laptop computer and some books. He asked if there was a quiete...

I find it interesting that Justice Kagen has recused herself some 20 times since she has been on the court. Thomas has been there much longer and 'nothing' ever felt like maybe he was too close to an issue to not take part.

The Keystone thing is a red hearing.... Yes the CONSTRUCTION part was stopped on line 2. This was an addition to the current Keystone line that is operating sending the dirtiest oil to Tex for shipment out. It almost rated as 'bunker oil' as used in sea freighters. It's too dirty to be economically ...

Look at the faces of the two as they came out. Putin smiling and Trump looking like he just saw the Pee-Pee tapes and Vlad said he would release it if he didn't do what he wanted.

Re: Term limits
The easiest method of term limits is called VOTING. I like a concept of the Supreme Court that the limit is something like 17 years on a rotating basis so each Prez term nominates 1 for the bench. Then you don't end up with Judges that are ruling on newer high tech things that they know little or no...
