Have heard the hum for a few days. This afternoon it is half buried under noise like a very distant station.

Got up late for work this morning because my radio alarm clock played silence at 6:00 AM - WRCJ 90.9 was not on the air. At 8:00 they were still off. Back on now; I wonder what happened. Have never considered that as a possible downside to a clock radio.

The shame is that AM talkers are doing well in other big markets, KFI in L.A. is #2, WBZ in Boston is #5. There is no reason that our two 3-letter stations couldn't both be in Detroit's top 10.
