Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

If she’s a liar then why would she take a polygraph? And risk being confirmed a liar? Or why would she insist on an investigation by law enforcement? And risk her accusation being discovered meritless? So let's say she's telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Why not state h...

Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

All this is disgusting. Why the hell come forward nearly 40 years later about an alleged assault? The judge was in high school for crying out loud! I'm sorry but if it was that big of deal that woman should have came forward decades ago. She should be charged for interference in a government proced...

Re: 2018 Detroit Lions

On a side-note, what a night and day difference between the Fox Sports play-by-play crew and ESPN's B-team Monday night crew! I like Chris Spielman as color commentator - he gives great insight into how the game is played and makes it understandable to the average person. I really enjoyed how many ...

Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

Who among us, at that age, didn't do something we wouldn't want to get out later in life? But when one seeks high office or position, one's past is going to be under scrutiny. A good example is that of Roy Moore. He was never charged with anything but the voters decided he didn't deserve their trus...

Re: Sexual assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh

I've said it before on multiple occasions in here - I have no sympathy for somebody who waits 30+ years to come forward with allegations of sexual assault. There are statutes of limitation for a host of reasons - one of which is that people's memories tend to be inaccurate after that amount of time...

Re: Seen On A Sign

The sign today at the not for profit Salvation Army retail store here in Traverse City read on both sides; We take Sundays off, just like the Lion's. Question is since they are clearly talking about the Detroit football team, would this sign be a violation of trademark laws or would Detroit have to b...

Re: Sports talk after Lions Monday Night Debacle

Jim Brandstatter probably feels a lot better about his firing by the LIons than he did when it happened. :D Y'all can get puturbed at what I'm going to say, but I like the new guy that's with Miller. Sure he's a little rough around the edges, but he's a player. I've always felt someone who has play...

FWIW, I think Robin Murdoch does a fine job as the current live reporter early in the morning on Fox 2.
I agree. And with winter coming, we get to check out her different crochet hats. Very nice style every morning.

Re: I-75 reconstruction in Troy & Madison Heights starts spring '19

Democrats will just give the money to Detroit so they can throw it away. I also see another useless public transit project being pushed down our throats. That is where the real waste of money is. I could not agree more. I think in the Motor City, everyone would rather drive themselves. One guy told...

And a TV20 goof to boot

I'm sure CJ will chime in a rebuttal on this little whine I have: We are now in September. Ever since April, when TV20 at 10pm (and I don't know if it's the same on 7) shows a Tiger highlight, the box score in the lower right hand corner is covered by the TV20 logo. Now I can understand if it was th...

Re: Dear Democratic Party, I hate you

… Is the 2-party system really worth it? Should candidates run as "Liberal" or "progressive" and "Conservative", not 100% beholden to party ideals? I know the 2 party system wont go away, but its worth a thought. I won't quote your whole post, but wanted to comment on this portion. The better quest...

Re: Higher Minimum Wage Will Lead to Job Losses. The Big Lie

A lot of folks on her are scanner enthusiast, so maybe you might want to try this on your own: The following story was told to me by someone that said he sat outside a McD's listening to the drive thru on his scanner. He says he listened to the orders, and tallied up what he heard the drive-thru tak...

Re: Dear Democratic Party, I hate you

… Today's Democratic party are a sorry lot, The Confirmation hearings last week back up my theory on that. I find them to be: race baiters, Promoting the idea of victim hood(every one is a victim you know), Wealth redistribution, Identity politics, People who don't know what effing bathroom to use,...

Re: So...Detroit Tigers

There is also Dan Hasty, who was a 97.1 scoreboard guy when they had the Lions, who has been with the West Michigan Whitecaps for at least four years. He got a Tigers preseason radio broadcast earlier this year. The Whitecaps' season could end as early as today .... I Googled him. Nice looking youn...

Re: For Those that don't vote

I don't vote every election. I usually skip the school boards, millage and most of the township elections. If this wasn't a governor's race, I wouldn't make a big effort this year. I do vote every presidential election. As far as the ones I miss, it's not that I don't want to. But if I don't make it...

Re: White House descent: The drumroll begins for XXV

So my opinion on the NYT Op-Ed. They should not of run it. Doing this caused more harm than good, no matter how much you may not care for the President. Unless it's really is Lodestar Pence, it seems to me whoever this official may be, if they are truly as high up the food chain in the West Wing as ...

Re: So...Detroit Tigers

If I had to listen to Allen every night I might go after him myself,he played ten games with the 84 Tigers and now he's an expert. I have to comment on this. I'm not saying Allen is worthy to stay, I'm not saying he should be thrown out the window of the broadcasting booth. But IMO having enough ta...
