While channel surfing in the wee hours Saturday, Nosey was airing the Jerry Springer Show reruns as a marathon with no commercials. Some of the shows, Jerry looked real young.
The program info was for Start TV and was also showing during the test pattern days.

Re: Megan Woods
Over the weekend (I don't remember when exactly), she said her 'goodbye' at the end of a news broadcast.

Re: AM Civil Defense pre-1963
I remember my first car, a 1963 Buick Lesabre, had both frequencies highlighted on the radio's window.

Re: WJBK signal strength?
For me from Jackson, I rarely get WJBK this time of year. WADL is much more difficult to receive than WJBK. I rarely get WOOD-TV also.

Re: Tony’s I-75 Restaurant
I was told the original one was in St. Louis (MI) on M-46. It has been a few years since I have driven by and it was still there at that time.

Re: Jackson area OTA
The tower is up! It's 80' and the antenna is roughly 10' higher. I'm getting most of the Detroit stations, but it varies on each of the TVs. Channel 38 comes in but is unwatchable 90% of the time. Channel 2 is the next most difficult to pull in. From Lansing I'm getting low power 29. According to th...

Re: Jackson area OTA
I can only pull in the Lansing/Jackson area stations with the equipment I have. I've been in touch with Antenna Men about putting up a 100' tower. According to the the grid they provided me with, I might get some of the Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids stations, but not Detroit/Toledo.

Re: Advice Needed
Another option is to buy an adapter for your VGA plug that plugs into a USB port on your computer. Many computers currently sold no longer have a VGA port (replaced by HDMI) and this adapter solves that problem for those that do not wish to buy another monitor. As for me, I would buy a TV at a thrif...
