Controversial Kevin Adell news

Feel free to move this to Political Potpourri if need be. As of today, there's very controversial news coming out regarding Kevin Adell in the sharing of a meme that's being seen as racially offensive. https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2019/10/15/kevin-adell-nabj-bishop-george-bloomer/...

5) The scenario that got the previous owners in FCC hot water, ie., unlocked doors leading to unauthorized station access.
I'm surprised no one actually tried to attempt to pull off a Max Headroom or Captain Midnight on WMNT back at that time.

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

WXYZ will be showing the Lions-Packers Monday Night Football game this upcoming Monday. Dancing With The Stars is moved to 1:07 AM early Tuesday morning, while The Good Doctor moves to 1:07 AM early Wednesday morning. Both are new episodes. In previous years, WMYD would air DWTS on nights when WXYZ ...

Re: Cable systems that do not carry all network affiliates from their home DMA

Obvious thread bump as this got brought up in another thread. Comcast Xfinity in Sandusky is missing several stations from in-market Detroit (most notably WWJ), but it does have the Big Three from Flint/Saginaw. This system's lineup, overall, is straight out of 1990 -- it has only 40 channels and is...

Re: Comcast Removing Detroit and Lansing Channels

Took them 23 years to finally realize that the Cable Reform Act of 1996 exists. That was why WNWO was dropped from TCI's Downriver systems, which were based out of Woodhaven.

Anybody know what channel it'll be on Buckeye Broadband?
If Buckeye ever added WTVG-DT4 to their lineup, it should be on whatever channel it is on.

From Discord user susquvalleywgal: Hershey Medical Center (Hershey, PA, supplied by Comcast) 2 - WGAL (NBC 8 Lancaster) 3 - WXBU (Comet 15 Lancaster) (lineup paper still says WLYH and mentions it as a CW affiliate!) 4 - WPMT (Fox 43 York) 5 - TBS 6 - WPVI (ABC 6 Philadelphia) 7 - WITF (PBS 33 Harris...

Re: WHPS 15.1

Definitely. I only got it once or twice when it was on RF33. A few days back I turned on RF15 expecting so see WEWS tropo only to be surprised to see WHPS.

For a Class A station their new transmitter is a true blowtorch.

Re: Giant TBA on tomorrow's NBC schedule

Not only that, there is an interesting difference at 10:00 PM tonight (Monday September 16) as WDIV's listings show "Dateline NBC" which usually airs at that time. However, taking a look at WNWO's schedule, they list the NBC Primetime Preview show from 10:00-11:00, which is interesting because that...
