Re: Radio ratings 1993-94

WLLZ may have been bordering on irrelevance otherwise but not in my house 😉 Plus, Podell took over PD reigns in mid '94 and Drew and Mike were getting hot. Other than Sheri Donovan, who was at WLLZ then? Who was their morning show? I listened to just as much Riff as I did LLZ but can't remember muc...

Can anyone tell me what the point to the D&M podcast is, anyways?

Your family asks the same question of you as well. It's people extending their career doing something they love and have built it up into a small network.

Re: What happened to Maz on the DMP?

Off topic but anyone know what happened to Jay on the Detroit Cast? Did he go get a real job again? I was surprised he did it this long.

Re: The WLLZ Fix List.

Who would have thought doing a classic rock station would be so difficult. They develop playlists based on studies and surveys but it seems 100% dislike current content. What made 70's/80's great radio was the AOR format. Play songs you don't hear as much. Instead of Highway to Hell for the 8,122,55...

I prefer the format 106 had a few years ago when they said "we play everything". Too much hair band music that I was never big on. If I have Sirius, my goto station is Lithium, that is the classic grunge from 90's that I like. If they had 40% that, 30% 80's, 20% classic rewind, and 10% First Wave, y...

McAllister out at 97.1

Well it's about time. It's a sports station so lets get back to talking sports.
No more of the "what's your favorite color" segments.
When I go to work on Monday, I wanna hear about how much the lions sucked first thing. Now it's a step in the right direction.
