DirecTV sues Nexstar
Re: DirecTV sues Nexstar
The blackouts of local channels proves the importance of a good outdoor antenna. I'm tired of these seesaw games between the local channels and providers. In the end, the viewer loses.
Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six

Many providers are now recommending antennas in the event of a local channel dispute. Unfortunately, these disputes won't likely end anytime soon, although a few members of Congress are trying to prohibit blackouts during disputes.

Remember when the local stations used to promote antennas as a way to get around the provider? That was just before they discovered the retransmission fee gravy train.radioandtventhusiast wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:35 pmMany providers are now recommending antennas in the event of a local channel dispute.
